Changing out front lower boot with some pics
Ordered Yamaha front lower boot replacement kit 28P-2510G-00 which consisted of 5 parts. The 4 parts pictured plus a plastic bottle of grease...
First time doing this and the videos I've seen entail removing the entire axle then removing the top...
I am changing my differential fluid, front looks like pic in book but rear is totally different. How do i know how much to put in rear. I took 6 oz out and put 6 in but still cant see the level that it shows in book. Anyone have any tips on this

ok boys gonna wow this site is addicting. gonna change my brake pads all the way around. Just want to do my homework. Any one do this recently? Any suggestions dos and don'ts to make my job eaiser. Thanks again for the info.

Just so your not left in the dark, we have been doing some feature updates to this site. Some have already found that it has affected some functionality. I apologize for this. Often times I miss issues that come up during these modifications.

Your rear engine seal leaking? Don just send it to the shop, FIX IT!
Changing the rear engine seal. This is the seal in the back of the engine that connects to the rear drive shaft.
Part needed: 93102-30170-00 (Yamaha OEM)
Start by jacking up the rear end, and removing the wheels.
Has anyone besides me ever had to change the pinion seal on their front diff ?? I did this spring & thought I'd parse along some of the steps & issues I ran into. And I'll post a few photo's too ....... I like photo's ....... ;D ;D ;D .... BTW .... this was accomplished on a 660 Grizz, not...
