  1. Grizzly Engine & Transmission
Hi. New forum member here. I've got a 2002 Yamaha Grizzly 660. It's leaking fuel from the carburetor and 2 days ago when I started it up, it started as normal on full choke and then as I was warming it up the engine started to sputter and died, then it wouldn't start again. I see fuel...
  2. Grizzly Engine & Transmission
I have a new to me 08 grizzly 660. After trading for it I noticed I was losing antifreeze. I realised the antifreeze was mixing with my oil. Did a little research and pull the front half of the water pump out and sure enough oil was coming out of the oil seal. I have it disassembled down to this...

I have a 2010 700 FI Grizzly. After separating the crank case I'm having issues trying to figure how the stopper lever goes in. It slipped off behind the gears when I was separating the case so I never seen how it went. And the service manual doesn't show much. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  7. Grizzly Tech Tips
So I was given the link to a wheel bearing guide on here the other day, it was great but the issue I'm having is the upper ball joint on the right front of my 03 grizz. The guide mentions using a pit man arm puller to get the upper ball joint free, but there's not way I can get any sort of tool...
  8. Kodiak/Big Bear/Bruin/Wolverine Discussion
I read on another forum (Gasp!) that someone recommended removing the rear sway bar for better slow speed suspension articulation at the expense of high speed handling. Well, I tried it today. Sure enough, the slow speed rock crawling articulation of the rear suspension is significantly better...
  9. Grizzly Engine & Transmission
GrizzlyMan660 asked how to remove the engine from a 660 and I went ahead and created a new thread so we would hijack the original one. GMan, if you look at this pic from my garage, you will be able to see a bit of what you'll be looking at when everything is out of the way. Note that it is...
