A couple winch related questions please

I,am installing my new viper 4K winch and i have a couple questions.

1. the winch contactor that came with my new viper 4k wiinch looks real cheesey on the mounting area side, it mounts with 2 - 3/16"bolts off center and with 2 small plastic mounting tabs. this is a heavy for its size part and to me it seems like with all the vibrations and jarring this is not going to work for long. is there a better contactor offered that is better ?

2. which brand of contactor is considered best ?

3. are you fellas fuseing your winch power leads if so where and what size fuses ?
