This is a post to help all of you other 350 guys out there that want to snorkel you Grizzlys
I know theres not many of us but there surely is NO other help about how to do it. At least that I could find anyway
So this is how i did mine. Feel free to ask any questions and if anyones interested i might be willing to put a kit togather just let me know

Front View

Rear View

The 1.5" hose fits into a pvc elbow which fits into the stock rubber connecter to the belt exhaust

Then it goes towards the front, under the pull start and between the motor and skid plate

then up along the frame

then into a pvc 45 and through the plastic

then up into a 45 then a 90 sweep

thats the intake for the belt. i used the same style pvc elbow and just reused the stock rubber connector again

comes up the same as the other side

thats the airbox. the pvc just goes straight into the stock rubber snorkel and is secured with a hose clamp

this is the exhaust snorkel. 1 and 7/8s pipe

just welded it to the stock spark arrestor so i can take it off if i want to

Thanks, been looking for some help snorkeling my 350 and have had no luck until now. This is really gonna help when I snorkel my Grizz. Although i dont like how the air box intake comes up infront of the gas tank, will have to find some way to make it come up in the front. :whoo:

Well good luck with that... There's not much room to pipe it up to the front. The exhaust pipe is in the way. But let me know what you come up with

Thanks they work pretty good. I was sitting in some water for about 5 minutes waiting for my buddie to hook the rope up so i could pull him out. It was idling with the back racks and almost all the seat under water no problem

I benn lookin at my grizz and firgurin out my plan for snorkeling it, and you have that vacum hose run between your engine and frame. That hose doesn't get hot down there? I would think that it would melt it

On my 660 I have hose that runs right beside the head (touches it), I just wrapped it in heat tape. No problems.

Just figured I'd update this.... You 350 guys will HAVE to rejet your carb. I ended up putting the biggest jet I had in my Dynojet kit in the carb, and even still it was getting too much air and not enough fuel, so I put a 1" reducer in the snorkel and that got it running right again

I've started mine.... I cut a new hole in the side of the airbox and cemented a "90" in it then I am going to run it down and in between the motor and the left hand foot rest like the belt exhaust is and up to the front

this is how i did my airbox but i did have to silicon my airbox bc the hose i used had a spring in it which lifted the lid some making it to where it wasnt water-tight. i tried to take the spring out and use it without the spring but it made the hose crease

also this is how my upper part of the snorkel came out

Those caps are for when i haul it on a trailer. if you dont have them a vacuum is created and the gas in your tank will get sucked down into the engine.

Without the caps

from the front. the aluminum plates on the rack keep the snorkel sturdy, and the top plate keeps the tops straight, plus as a bonus it gave me a really cool place to put that decal i had ;)

yeah thats how a buddie of mine did his bruin, i didnt like it because i wanted to be able to open my airbox,
I didnt mind cutting the airbox because a new one is only $4.75!
Thats similar to how mine will come through the plastic, but I am going to have 4 and they will be shorter. I'll have pics of it done in a couple days
