Ok so ive been looking into this and i really want to snorkel my 600 grizz. But i am new to all this have been riding for years but riding and customizing is two different things. I have the basic knowledge and the will to so i know i can accomplish itm, but i am needing a few pointers and more intel on it. Everything ive seen about it so far is mixed. Some say run pool flex hose some say use pvc some say 2 1.5 in some say 2 in some say 2.5.. My bike is stock except have uni filter and custom exhaust (18in glass pack). Can anyone tell me what is best to use and what size do i actually need and how much will i need and what else will i need to buy.. Has anyone used rubber house like a high temp?? figured it would be better than a pool flex house would hold up better and well look better also and when i snorkel it to the front wont i have to wrap all the pipes in heat shild or exhaust tap to protect from melting due to high temp... Please help.

You probably have it finished by now, but I did my 600 with the spa/pool hose I used whatever size it was that fit the hole in my air box and clutch blet vent tube, I did wrap afew spots with heat shield. I glued the hose to air box and clutch vent tube with stuff called shoe Goo, its clear kind of like silicon but better, its water and heat proof. Walmart had it in the shoe dept.
