independent suspension is awesome, love the way it rides. i hope to get it out on some trails this weekend. I have a Warn xt25 on the way and a cycle country plow. I was wondering if you put an aftermarket bumper on the front does change your winch location and do you have to remove any original parts to add a bumper? might be dumb questions but i am new to this , "bear " with me....lol

It all depends on the bumper. Right now their are only 3 manufacturers selling bumpers for the 450 in the USA and they are from bison, warn and super atv. The bison just goes on without any worries about the winch or removing stock parts from what I can tell but it's pretty fugly. I'm not too sure about the warn but I would think they designed the 450 bumper with their 450 winch mount plate in mind. As for the super atv bumper you have to remove your stock bumperettes and if you have a warn winch and mounting plate you will not be able to bolt the bottom mounting tabs down to the cross bar due to the warn winch mounting plate. I also found a few other issues with the super atv front bumper in regards to being mounted on my 07- 450. Yamaha makes a 4 piece add on for the canadian market thats pretty nice looking if you can find it in the states.

Oh BTW, Congrats on the 450! I'm sure you'll get as much pleasure out of it as I do.

I just got off the phone with superatv and they believe they may have shipped me the wrong bumper. So it might be why I am having issues mounting it with the warn winch setup. I will let you know once I have final confirmation on this.
