this is by far my best mod! cant get over the power increase this snorkel made! i do more trail riding than swimming so i needed a snorkel that would fit under downed trees, i also hate the stock intake box, its wayy to restrictive. after a month of thinking about it, this is what i came up with.

Love it! Best flowing snorkel ive ever seen! Would like to get a pre filter outer wear for summer dust riding though, but in the few hundred miles ive road with it, it has yet to get dirty enough to wash it.

Pretty nice setup. I was thinking of something like that for later this year as I am getting more and more into mudding and creek riding.

Its the way to go! Far more flow than a 2" snorkel and 100% fresh cool air over any stock mod box!

Sweetgrizz, you will be better off doing a full snork instead of one like this. If your riding creeks chances are water will go over this snork set up.

This setup is good fir the trial rider that needs more cool air due to exhaust replacement and a programmer.

2 things come to mind looking at that....sudden stop....chest or tummy gets a boo boo. and looks like the handlebars would get pretty close at full turn, how much clearance you got?

Never had an issuse, never hit my body off it and can turn the bars to full lock no issue. True, you can't go deeper than the bottom of the handle bars, but chances are most trail riders dont!

If you hit that snorkle with your chest, then you were either riding to fast for conditions or beyond you could handle.

I agree the set up is good for the trail rider.

I had originally thought of getting rid of it (mainly because the way mine is its a b**ch to snorkel) but I asked a friend of mine who is a yamaha dealer and he said that wouldn't work!
