:laugh1: Did this awesome fast paced 200 mi 11.5 hr ride with Desert Dweller, Don and Steve last Saturday. Made 116 mi on the first tank with the fuel lite blinking the last 20 mi. Took 4.7 gal so there was still .6 gal left in the 5.3 gal tank. Saw elk, prong horn, and deer along the way through forrest trails, high elevation prarie, and high desert gravel roads. Had a great time! Enjoy the pics by Steve (Luke). Stoneman Lake to Twin Arrows 06-04-11 - luke122451's Photos

Awesome pics looked like that ole fart was winded time he got to the top of the steps on the tower! Were that elk in the video and what was that skeleton? Looks like that rim and tire had a bad encounter with something lots harder than that rim. Sure look like yall had to keep moving pretty hard with the tire issue, what speeds did you average?

:laugh1: That was DD and it was a long day! Saw elk several times. Those in the vid were on a high plateau in the Coconino National forrest east of Flagstaff. The skeleton was from a range steer in the same area as the running elk. Ray probably hit a sharp rock??? :Shh: Ave. speed while moving was 26.8 mph so we didn't take too many breaks.

:laugh1: Yeah, something like 30+% of this state is National Forest. There are big misconceptions about AZ. :Shh: It's not all desert!!!!!!!

Now DJ we live in a Desert thats all they need to know:tongueout2:
HEY that old fart just hobbled up three flights of stair's with two bad knees and enough dirt on my face to start a garden.
You know those guy's never said a thing, I didn't know how bad it was until I was headed home in the truck.:laugh1:
Here are the pic's I was able to take, the one with the tire took a can of Fix-a-Flat, 3 plugs. 2 compressor's, 1 blown fuse in order for me to hobble back to the truck 80 some miles at about 48 MPH.:smiley_confused1:
