Hey guys, I'm about to take the leap and finally buy some new tires for the first time. I'm looking for info on these two tires. I'm motivated by these factors, in order,

Price - I want the cheapest tire that's still a quality tire (Thinking radial),

I want a tire that is mainly for trail riding (Again points to radial),

but I do also do a little snow plowing in the winter, not much though...

Here are the two I'm considering, let me know which you think is better for my uses and please tell me why and if you think they both are crap please suggest another tire. Also, do these run true to size? Are they too heavy for my little bitty 450? And anything else you can think of...

Front 25x8x12 Rear 25x10x12 Duro Power Grip Radial ATV Tire | ATV | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC

or

Front 26x9x12 Rear 26x11x12 Duro Frontier ATV Tire | ATV | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC

As you can see I'm considering the larger tire on the second option, should I not consider larger tires on such a small atv?

For the needs you expressed the Duro Power Grip is the tire you have been looking for! Read my review of them an see if you agree!

or ITP Baja Cross Radial ATV Tire buy good tires and enjoy
ITP Terracross a great long last trail tire .
I run outlaw 26x10s on my 450. Your second option tires would be fine.

Im a turd... LOL I love my stock Maxxis on my stock aluminum black wheels. I avoid deep mud cuz it's bad for EVERYTHING(!!!)(seals, joints, bearings, etc, etc) But love to ride hard, fast, and technical stuff and the stockers have done fine for me. I am considering some Black Diamond XTR's when these wear out cuz one of my club members has them and loves them a lot. Cheers brothers!!
Hey man, I love those stock, black rims. I went back to them after trying the custom rims. They are so much tougher and they are spaced properly for the rig. Can't say much for the stock tires. We don't have many dry trails up North.

Lol, I don't want to spend that much $$$ or I would.
Hey guys, I was wondering if you could tell me if these are the right spacers for my 2012 Grizzly 450 IRS.

Those spacers will work tho IMO 2.0 are a bit much!

Ok, I'm looking for the right number of inches for my 450 to make it more stable on corners and also because I ride two up frequently so again I'm looking for more stability there as well... How many inches do you guys use and recomend? I was thinking the 1.5" but I was also thinking that if I get the 2" I'll never have to upgrade them, lol. What are your thoughts? What are the negatives of too much width?
After market wheels did the trick for me
Those are next month.

X2 skip the spaces just do aftermarket rims .

Na, not for me, not yet anyway, $$$, I just order 1.5" spacers and next month I'm ordering wider tires for my stock rims. Spacers are a quarter of the price of rims, that's more important to me than how my rims look when they are covered in mud most of the time anyway, lol.

Guess I should have done an update.

The Big Horns were great... but the Pit Bulls are BETTER! :tongueout2:
