Just a shout to update everyone on the daily adventures of "The Evel One..."
First off I finally got thru upgrading my `00 Dodge 2500 4X4 Cummins Turbo Diesel. Well I'm to the point where all my new parts are installed. It now has a Chevy steering box and all aftermarket steering components..$2500 shot to hades,,,but,,,she handles now. I also have fuel pressure to spare and I'm pleased with that. When the checking account recovers a bit I'll get a bigger turbo and injectors..That should put her into the 500HP range. It's paid for now and finally I can afford to add the parts I've needed,,,just can't jepordize the mortgage...A step at a time..
Finally a bit of R+R time down at my beach house. I went down for a few days and happy to report NO tickets this time. I'm still abiding ALL traffic laws. The weather is a bit hot and I'm a little burned from that solar flare. My sister's family and a few good friends came down as well. We took my center console down to a sand bar for a little R+R. The sand bar gets more and more crowded each time I go. Everyone had a large time swimming and tanning. I slipped off and managed to catch several flounder and a single red drum. All were too small and I released them. Weather off shore was not forecast to be enjoyable so we stayed in the backwater. The fishing I like is still about 5/6 weeks away and I'm ready...
I went down to the Myrtle Beach House of Blues last evening..On tap were 3 Inches of Blood,, Hatebreed,, and the metal powerhouse Lamb of God. LOG put down a good show as always. I must say that Hatebreed really threw down..I was a little late on arrival and missed 3 Inches of Blood....Oh well...I really like the MB HOBs. There have been many good shows there. Next month it's Black Label Soceity and Clutch...I'll be there.thedevil1thedevil1thedevil1

I know it'd be one hell of a drive but maybe you could get some pretty Southern Bell to split drivin' duties with ya:yay2:...make it one of those "open road adventure" trips; eatin' greasy road food and sleepin' in the truck bed in your Rebel Flag sleeping bag. :bedtime2:

Keeter...My crib is located on the outskirts of Holly Ridge. It's about 5 minutes to Surf City whitch is located on Topsail Island. Mostly my fishing is done off shore. I like targeting grey trout, spanish and king mackeral. Hell if it'll bite I'll reel it in. Any future trips to WV are looking kinda bad as I'm getting behind the eight ball more and more these days....
Dizz MOAB seems like it's on another planet...Still with enough hard work I'll pull it all together and who knows what the future may hold....No law abiding Joe here Brother...Just tryin` my damn best to fly under the radar...
HCS...Sorry Bro but as usual the camera was at home. Did see alot of people Droiding the show last night. The real deal woulda` been out on the beach...All I could say was damn...Don't really think the hunnies would like havin` their pic snapped...
Butcher the 660 has been pulling loads of bricks all damn day..If I keep that up she may have no love for ME!! No big trips but plenty of strools around the neighborhood..Haven't been around to hear the news about Buscoe. Like I posted before you get inexperienced riders in a large group and sooner or later....Buscoe is a fair place to ride but I wouldn't hit it on the weekend due to the crowds...and idiots..Sorry to hear someone lost their life down there..

Man what a freakin few days...Started raining the other day and it wouldn't stop. The creek in my driveway went from a dry stream bed to a white water adventure park in nothing flat. Luckily I rented a back hoe years back and added some volume in front of the 24"inch pipe in the driveway. Just a little flooding in my Mom's basement when the elbow on the sump pump broke. I still can't reach the beach house but the neighbors say everything went well. There was over 22 inches of rain down there. Again..luckily I decided a few weeks ago to clean the ditches and drain pipes...Maybe the sun will shine on this dog for a while....Towns near here have been in as much as 8 feet of water...I'll help if I can with the disaster relief...
On March 5, 2009 my cousin lost his 17 year old son Neill. He was given the nic name Hammahed by the Evel One and all the boys called him Hamma. He was born September 30, 1991 and we had a break in the rain just long enough for a graveside memorial. God musta` been watching as it started raining again before I got home. Two days after Neill was killed my 78 year old Mother broke her femur. I live in the woods about 1/4 mile behind her house and have taken care of her for years. She eventually entered a rehab home but recovery actually went well and she returned home. I had been asleep for two hours when the phone rang yesterday morning at 7am. I didn't get it but I did get the message. My Mom saying she had fallen and could not get up. I'm groggy as hell and at first I'm thinking it's a joke. Long/short she had been down for 45 minutes and crawled to the phone. She told me her hip and arm were broken and the arm wasn't looking good. I called the ambulance and spent the rest of the day at the hospital. She has a badly bruised hip and a fractured wrist. I gotta call her Doc in the am and schedule an appointment to get it fixed.Hoping to hell no surgery will be required. She is over at my Sister's house for now. Luckily our houses are connected by a Grizzly trail. I had to go over earlier and cut off her wedding bands..She was wearing my Dad's band also. He'll be in Heaven 15 years on the 15th. Cutting that band did me no good.
I'm sitting in the ER waiting room yesterday with my Uncle "New Gene" and my 8 year old Neice Glynn "Gee". All is good when out from the ER comes a drunk on a wheelchair. I'm thinking, "Great." The cleaning crew had been gone for a whopping 30 seconds when this fool starts littering the area with saltine crackers, cursing loudly and trying to dial the payphone. I got up and dialed the phone for him and guess what?, no one answers his 30 failed attempts to get a ride back to his "camper." I guess Unc NewGene realized the danger this drunk fool was in and rolled him over to the information desk for further assistance. I thought at that point I'd seen the last of him.
a couple of hours later I head to the parking lot to sit in the sun and get my nicotine levels adjusted. I had my feet on the ground beside the car and was dozing thinking that this was not a good place to doze. Yep... somebody is shaking my leg and saying "Hey Buddy"...I wake up and the drunk fool is asking if I'll take him home. Now this MFer has crossed the line and I get in his face in a major way...Luckily a security guard was already heading over there and I backed off. The cops came and escorted the drunk fool to their special place...I think they call it the "Grey Bar Hotel." I've been a few times and the accomidations SUCK! I told the security guard he hadn't done anything to me to warrant charges...but obviously the guard was good and tired of this idiot. For now I gotta take care of Mom's needs...Oh well just another day in "Pair of Dice"" at least it isn't raining....thedevil1thedevil1thedevil1

One thing I just can't wrap my head around though...I'm 6'3" and around 185/90 lbs. My hair hits the middle of my back. Recently a chic said her boyfriend described me as the man who could clear out a bar without much trouble...Really though...I kinda` doubt that...but I do have an AK...What I'm getting at... though I'm a nice guy...I really don't look like someone who you would wanna eFF with....but then you get the drunk fool...I knew as soon as I saw that idiot something was likely to happen..I guess fools like flirting with danger....I like riding my Grizz...like a fool........thedevil1thedevil1thedevil1

Just in from lovely Southern Pines, NC the golf capital of the universe...so ya know how I stand out in that crowd. No drunks there at least,but alas very bad news...The ER doc mis-diagnosed and her left hip is indeed fractured. Surgury will be required for the wrist only and is scheduled for Wensday. The fractured hip is on the same side of the recently broken femur that now has a rod inside it. Definitely not a plus. I saw an x-ray of the rod today and I'm thinking I could do a much nicer job...screws galore...looks painful still. No damn chance She would ever pass a metal detector. Just really hope no stay in rehab is needed or I may need rehab myself....pardon me as I scream SON OF A MFING BEECH!! Strength on strength if it don't kill you it will make you stronger.. Bro in Law set up my guitars and his drums in her garage today...a friend has my PA but is bringing it by tonight. I need the practice...just a way to rid aggression and better than vegging in front of the tube while on Mom watch. Jackson or BC Rich, Marshall or Peavey, decisions...decisions...Man you guys haven't lived until you get the chance to dump that potty chair thing...Just got in from her crib. The troops have rallied well and my aunt is staying the evening with Mom..Glad to have my Bro in Law's drums outta my computer room...Got room aplenty now...On top of it all freaking dish network has lost FX and NatGeo...getting ready to buzz up Direct...I believe they still have Sons of Anarchy....Really no time for that but it must be dealt with. Hell I forgot that my cousin's wife was diagnosed with breast cancer Friday...They are good peeps. I was 8 years old the night he got off the plane from Veitnam..I still remember it well. My Mom's neighbor Johnny is also recovering from surgery. Spoke with him today when I pulled out that mighty Grizz. He's lots better and I'm damn glad. His family has lived there since @ 1970 and I have some LOVE for him. Can you fellas imagine living next to the Evel One. From lumpity cams in big blocks to race bred motorcycles he's heard alot over the years...never a hint of a complaint. He loves it too. Godspeed to all my sick and injured friends and relatives. Here's hoping anyone who takes the time to read this dribble good health and prosperity in the future. Great to hear your clan has answered the call and are there in a time of need. Family is everything!
Breast cancer is not the sentence it used to be by a long way, thank God. Tell your cousin and his wife the GR gang is praying for them and strength will be there when they need it.
Good to hear your friend Johnny is mending well; the Nam vets got a shaft on both ends and need all the love we can send. Thank him kindly for his service and give him our best.

Thanks Fellas...Sometimes you just gotta grit your teeth,,,look `em in the eye and lock `em in low. You can't stop Evel, there ain't no effin` way....Nice avatar there Doc SeXXXy....Really I'm all good just a little weary. My relatives are catching it...just hope they don't get worse and all that are well today remain that way...Took a chocolate pie to my cousin and his wife before dinner last evening He cried that made me cry...SOB....I was an 8 year old the night he returned from Veitnam...my family and his soon to be wife all met him at RDU. I can still remember him picking me up and sayin,"Heard you got a mini-bike.." Hell yeah I did!! I've been on Grizz therapy and with all that rain the other day that ain't bad....Need to stab that 50 pilot in the HD and testing...testing....48 is almost there 50 will be the one...There again all advice is 46/8 and that just ain't effin` big enough....It isn't horseshoes...it went from spitting regularly to only once in a while...I'll be the only one spitting soon...Maybe I'm lean...chocolate pie will fiXXX thatthedevil1thedevil1thedevil1No jetting required

A little update on my sick family and friends...Mom is doing much better today,,those pain pills have been doing a lot of the talking but all is good. She can't get around with the fractured hip and my legs are a little tired. Wrist pain has subsided a lot..Thanks to the big man for that..Sucks when your Mom is in pain...I'll continue to be the good Son...the only Son would be more like it..
My cousin's wife has stage one, the lowest level and will undergo surgery soon. That's better than radiation in my book. Actually I was in school for Radiology. Shoulda` Coulda` but didn't...Decided divorce and distance to be the best,,,and it was....
My neighbor is starting to kick it a bit. He came out to the shop when he saw me welding out there last night. Johnny tried to pay me for cutting his grass and cleaning his yard..Money ain't the reason I did it....
Now I don't know if you would think my situation is dire or not. I just continue to survive and do what is required of me...With a fairly full plate though I really wasn't looking another mountain to climb...really. Today I vacuumed my Mom's floors and did some more bitch duty. My Aunt stayed a couple of evenings so I washed and vacuumed her Honda. I told her if she would give me an hour more I was going to ride my Harley. She said, "Oh yeah, I forgot the bank called something about your debit card." Not what you want to hear. Seems some POS has stolen my debit card # and hit Microsoft X-Box 7 times in 1 day...SOB is flying to PARIS too....All together now...DAMMMITTT!!! So far less than $1000 My check has no where to direct deposit Sunday night....Not suicidal but I could kill those internet thieves..I deal with reputable {so I thought} sites. Either paypal or an e-cig vendor...Narrowed to 2 places. My money is insured and my credit union promises to prosecute if at all possible. I tell you now if there is any freekin` way possible....I can see the headlines now...HACKERS GET HACKED pass me my dang pistol and benchmade....It's comical at this point...thedevil1thedevil1thedevil1
